As a mentor and career counsellor I help people evaluate where they are at the moment, how to make the most of it or recognise what it is that is holding them back. As adults we may think that we should have all the solutions. We often find that we don't.
Feeling Stuck in a Job that We No Longer Enjoy
We may want to do something new, but worry about whether we have the ability to do it, the time it may take to change track and the uncertainty and level of change it will introduce to our lives. We Can Always Wonder Whether We Can Do More

Looking to Return To Work
|
Everyone is Different
|
For people looking to return to work, wanting to realise an ambition or reinvent themselves after having brought up a family, there can be self-doubt about whether they still have the skills for the market place, or uncertainty about what the demands of a new job may be. The options available may also be something they're unsure about, particularly if they don't just want to do what they were doing before they left work. Our doubts about ourselves and our self-esteem and self-confidence can all hold us back, and stop us from becoming what we can be

Everyone is different and the mentoring and career counselling that someone needs are likely to be unique to each person. Because of this the process begins with you contacting me, telling me a bit about yourself, the decisions and issues you are facing and the things that you feel may be getting in the way of resolving them. I will then tell you the sort of services I can offer, from mentoring conversations to help in reaching decisions through to practical advice and support in applying for jobs, writing CVs, excelling at interviews and dealing with rejection letters or other setbacks
